September 28, 2005 at 8:10 pmAre you using MP3s? If so, don’t. AE only likes WAV or AIFF. Convert your MP3s to those formats in QT Pro or similar.
Does that help?

September 28, 2005 at 8:32 pmThe project in question is having problems rendering the audio of quicktime files that I exported from Premiere. I have imported other video files that have audio and video and I get the same error. -J

September 28, 2005 at 9:05 pmSo …
1. when did this error start?
2. Has AE ever been able to render audio properly? If so, what has changed?
3. Try using a different audio codec from Premiere. Does it work?
4. Which version of QT are you using?
5. Try importing other files and rendering those.
6. Are Premiere and AE on the same computer?Steve

September 28, 2005 at 10:27 pmthe problem just started today after I upgraded Quicktime from 7.1 to 7.2. I heard rom our IT guy that there is some problem with 7.2 and I need to run a reinstall of 7.1. Has anyone else heard of this?
