  • Latest Solution for 3D Object Import

Posted by Ervin Tia on January 22, 2014 at 10:19 am

Hello. So have we any update or latest free solution for us who’s starting into 3D object integration?

I read about the CS-5.5/Live3D workflow and the latest CC-Cinema4D offering.

    We’re currently CS6!

    Thanks you.

C4D can output .AEC files, which you can open in Ae CS6 (with the C4D Exchange plugin, included with C4D, installed).

Unlike the new CC/CINEWARE workflow, you must do your rendering in C4D, but you can send 3D object and camera data, plus multiple passes and object buffers, to Ae for compositing.

There’s also Element 3D from Video Copilot for rendering 3D objects in Ae.

To add to Walter’s input, Zaxwerks Invigorator Pro or Pro Animator can offer you easy 3d import and manipulation inside AE.
Here’s a link to one of my projects done using Invigorator:

Awesome solutions!I wonder if there is an updated ‘free’ work-around as before. Thanks!
