  After effects masking in the middle of the video

  Hi,

  For my video i want to use a second clip pop in the middle of the first clip in a form of a circle.

  First clip starts. After 30secs the second clip will appear in the middle (not fill the whole screen!).

  I tried to use mask path option with keyframe, but everytime i use keyframe the second clip starts to pop up in the beginning (1sec)

  Can anyone help me?

  Use a combination of the mask expansion and mask opacity tools

  Keyframe mask opacity from 0 to 100 when you want to see the video and make the Mask expansion a negative value and bring it up to 0.
