  Removing a background using a picture

  Hi!

  I recently came across a problem. I have my friend in front of a bit complex background, but I have the picture of the exact same background taken from the same spot as the video itself. My question is how to remove the background from the video, using the picture? I tried rotobrush, but it’s quite timeconsuming.
  I’m sorry if my explanation wasn’t clear, I upload 2 pictures (one from the video, and the background itself) to help.

  You can start with the Difference Matte effect. It may require some cleanup, but it’ll get you started.
