  After Effects timeline issue

  Hello,
  recently I’ve had a problem with the timeline in After Effects. After I set my composition length in the composition setting menu to 10 seconds, it showed that:

  

  I tried to change the length to 20 seconds, and then it showed the seconds the way the should.

  Does anyone know how to solve it?

  Why are the gaps so weird and come with an “f” near them?

  It looks as if you need to learn some of the basics of AE concerning time display:

  The “f” stands for Frames – that’s what you’ve got the timeline set to display.
