  Uninstall not un-installing

  Trying to uninstall AE and several other Adobe products from a soon-to-be decommissioned machine. When I click “uninstall AE” the Adobe Application Manager icon appears in the dock, but nothing happens. No application starts–nadda.

  The app manager does appear to be on my machine (utilities>adobe application manager>core>adobe application manager (ver. 7.0.0.427)

  Truly need to resolve this quickly as I will not be able to install AE, etc on my new machine until I’ve cleared same from this old one (iMac , i3, Mac OS X 10.7.5 “mountain lion”

  [Hmm, could this be a problem between AAM and not having the most current version Mac OS X?]

  You do not need to uninstall. Rather, you should Sign Out via the Help Menu.

  Thanks so much. Didn’t realize the feature was available. Very helpful indeed

  Still need to uninstall some non-CC Adobe apps, but I think I have a work-around albeit a clumsy one. The uninstall works properly on my “Big Rig” so I plan to restore that machine’s system folder to the smaller machine on which uninstall is currently not working. Oughta’ work–or maybe not
