I installed Mavericks before I had heard of any compatability problems – doh!

It seems to have completely killed any possibility of rendering using the multiprocessing abilities – it crashes the whole machine after rendering after doing so for 5 minutes.

I have to switch muliprocessing off in order to render.

Anybody else in the same boat?

Any clever fixes – (or is Mavericks another dog created by a company loosing touch with it’s core users – again)

I’m not running Mavericks here yet, but have you installed the Ae CS6 update for 11.0.3 or 11.0.4?

Yes I have installed the update otherwise I wouldn’t be able to run AE CS6 at all.

Does this affect all projects, or just the one you’re working on now? What are your memory & multiprocessing settings? Have you tried resetting preferences?
