  29.976 frame slide with timers

  HI greetings,

  We are working with timers. Matching AE timers to burned in footage timecode. The footage is 29.97 and we have noticed that every 5 seconds our timers skip 3 frames. We are using Dan Ebberts, timer expression but we have also tried the default after effects timer with no positive results.

  Can anyone provide a solution to this? Thank you !

  Hi Dave,

  Thanks for the quick reply. The comp is 29.976 and we have tried interpreting the footage with and without drop frame.
