  Opening 6.5 projects in CC

  I have just upgraded from the 6.5 that I have used since about 2007 to CC and I need to open all my old projects but they won’t.

  Solutions?

  After Effects CS5.5 (v10.5) was the last version to read projects from AE 6.5. Ae CS6 and CC can open projects from After Effects 7.0 and later.

  Darn…I saw an older post that mentioned basically the same thing but I was hoping that a better solution had been created over time.

  I’ll have to continue to build on my old AE 6.5 computer and just import the finished media into my AVID on my new computer until I can get that process going.
