Alignment of text goes to center when expression added
I have been experiencing an issue with text alignment when adding an expression. I have a null object with a slider control. This is used as a counter. I then apply an expression to the source text in the text layer and link that to the slider control in the null object layer. All is fine until the expression is added. Instead of the text being left or right justified it becomes center justified. Is there an easy way of preventing this or will I need a more complicated expression to prevent this?
An expression is applied to slider to control to return a whole number.

Operator error on my part! Instead of clicking on the text tool I just created a new text layer. After clicking on the text tool and creating a bounding box I was able to complete the task at hand. So many settings so much confusion! 🙂
