  AE CC Render Performance Comparison

  Hi,

  I would like to know if anyone is willing to do a Video Rendering performance comparison with my new PC and provide me with their PC specs and AE settings to see how I can optimize the render time for my AE projects.

  AE Memory & Multiprocessing:

  • RAM Reserved for other apps: 4GB
  • RAM Available for AE: 11.9GB
  • Render Multiple Frames Simultaneously
  • CPUs reserved for other applications: 0
  • RAM Allocation per background CPU: 3GB

  Here are some specs of my PC:

  • Intel Core i7 4930K 6 Core 3.4GHZ (3.9GHZ Turbo)
  • ASUS P9X79 Pro ATX
  • Crucial M500 CT240M500SSD1 2.5in 240GB SATA (Where Win7 and AE reside)
  • 2 * WD Caviar Black 1TB SATA3 6GB/S 7200RPM (RAID 0)
  • 4 * 4GB Corsair Vengeance CML16GX3M4A1600C9B Low Profile Blue

  I rendered the following Videocopilot AE file, as is, with the following settings.
