Ok so I remade a prop from tron but i cant seem to get the scanlines to break up like in the movie.

    Heres the original

you see how the scan lines have an aplha matte on them i just cant get the proper alpha matte to make it look like that was wondering if anyone could maybe lend me some advice on how to create a proper noise or whatever aplha matte is required for that effect? Thanks for the forums and the help.

A quick and dirty way is to use Venetian Blinds
