  • OpenGL breaks adjustment layers and transfer modes!

Posted by Jack Kelly on September 24, 2005 at 6:43 pm

    Hi,

If I set Composition Settings > Advanced > Rendering Plug-in to “OpenGL” then neither adjustment layers nor transfer modes work. I can make as many changes to my adjustment layers or my transfer modes and nothing happens! All I have to do is to set the Rendering Plug-in to “Advanced 3D” to fix these problems.

Does anyone know what’s going on here?

My OpenGL driver is: GeForce PCX 5300 / PCI / SSE2 / 3DNOW (version 2.0.0). I’ve installed the most recent nVidia drivers.

Any help would be very greatfully received… I’d like to use OpenGL because it’s SOOO much faster.

    Thanks,
    Jack

Sorry… I forgot to mention… I’m running AE 6.5.1 Pro on Win XP on an Athlon 64 with 1GB of RAM.

Those features don’t work with OpenGL as AE has implemented it. Maybe that will change with the next version, maybe not. 🙂
