Hi all ! Sorry if this has been asked before. I am a AE beginner. I searched *a lot* and couldnt find an answer here or anywhere else. I am surprised because what I am trying to do is indeed very simple. I have I video of a face. I am motion tracking the nose. I want to flip the nose vertically. just the nose. I tried a lot of stuff. normal flip flips me the entire video. Putting a mask and doing a transform makes the mask itself flip, not the video that it contains . Applying an effect like mirror or distort makes the image goes crazy, like the referential point is somewhere else. So How could I do a simple vertical flip of a video area, like the nose for instace ?

You need to think in layers, like in photoshop. Make a duplicate, CTRL-D, of your face footage, and mask out the nose in the top layer. Now you can flip that layer and reposition as needed!

And the Lord said, “Come forth and receive eternal life.” But I came fifth and all I got was a set of steak knives!
