  no audio AE CC

  Greetings,

  Any advice on why my videos have no audio on previews? It shows an audio waveform, and I’ve tried all the Audio Hardware & Output preferences and still no luck. I’ve also imported several audio clips and other file types and still no audio. The moviews/clips paly fine in Final Cut.

  Hmmm…

  How are you previewing, exactly? What buttons are you pressing/clicking?

  Hi Todd,

  After import I’m dragging the files to the timeline. Once there I tap the space bar so the ‘guitar pick’ starts to move along the timeline.

  I’m new to AE so I’m sure I’m not previewing it correctly.

  That is not how you preview audio in After Effects.
