  Cut layer into many sub-layer susing masks

  I have a large image that is actually text that I want to animate (I do not have the font).

  I managed to trace the letters using Auto Trace and now I have one layer with many masks. How can I create a lot of layers, each with its own masks, each representing one layer?

  There is a script for that. But by hand you can just copy each mask or masks for each letter and paste them on a new solid of the same size.
