  Saving Character Styles

  I’ve never come across this, and assume it doesn’t exist, but figure I’d at least ask: is there a way to save character and paragraph styles in After Effects?

  As of now, the most time-effective option seems to be duplicating a text layer and then modifying the text. Is there a way to save character styles that I don’t know about?

  (I am hoping I’ve been missing out on something all these years, and that I’ll soon be kicking myself for all the time I wasted.)
