  • Animating a mosaic

    Hi.. I’ve used Andreamosaic to make a large mosaic image from a few hundred pictures. It’s great, really happy with the result.

    My next challenge is… I’d like to animate this building up, in AE.

    I’ve used Particulate a few times but not like this.

    As I see it, my 2 unkowns are:

    1. how to chop up the mosaic back into bits without it taking 2 days, and
    2. how to re-create the final result, over time

    Any thoughts guys?

    That first script is great.
    Now I’ve got a null object with a LOT of sliced images attached. What’s the smartest way to scatter them around ?
