  Reduce exposure on a Gh4?

  I was under the impression that aperture controlled the amount of light going into the camera, and therefore if I turn it down, I would make my pictures ‘darker’.

  My wife’s face seems to be overexposed, and all I’m able to do to change that is hit the +/- button right behind the top dial (behind the ‘take a picture’ button) in order to reduct that exposure.

  Adjustments to the F don’t seem to be doing anything… because the shutter speed keeps moving with it!

  I guess this might go back to my, “Don’t I need to be able to adjust aperture and shutter speed individually question” in another thread…
