  Scene files compatible from HDX900 to Varicam?

  I am subbing out a shoot to a camera operator with a tape based VariCam. I own an HDX900 – I have a certain scene setting I have been using and wanted to share it with him, but I’m told HDX900 scene files can’t be read by VariCam?

  Is this correct?

  Wynn,

  Yes that is correct, although the two cameras can be matched to look very close. Best method is to use qualified engineer, DSC Chroma du Monde chart and WF/V scope.
