  Had a question from client wishing to record live DVD with window while shooting interviews. Haven’t had this request before.

  ANyone done this?

  I see the SONY VRD-MC6 which looks like it might work. I guess using VBS out. But how can I get time as well?

  Hi Rob,
  Take your video from the “video out” on the rear of the HDX900. On the side panel move the video out switch to “vbs” and move the “characters” switch to “on”. That’s it. We record with tc window to a Panasonic DMR E-30 dvd recorder and that has worked nicely.
