Tricky audio waveform to outline shape.
Hi everyone, I’m working in After Effects and I’m doing a little animation where by I am having to make an audio waveform line that is reacting to audio, using trapcode soundkeys, morph into various words and shapes. I’ve experimented with Trapcode Particular and various ways of getting a nicer waveform than the audio waveform than comes with AE. I have animated various paths to break out from a single line and have been using a Wave Warp on an adjustment layer to distort a straight line into a wave which is the controlled by sound keys. However, masking my adjustment layer or along the edges, cuts my line and i’m trying to get a nice single line.
Has anybody got any ideas how I may be able to solve my problem, or how I might be able to make this reacting waveform effect just along one section of a path. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
