Activity Forums Panasonic Cameras HDX400 vs. HDX900

    I am currently looking at a broadcasters tech spec regarding recommended Hi Def Cameras they accept. They list the AJ-HDX 400 but not the HDX 900 which is what we use for all our shows.

    Can you tell me what the difference is between the two models. Is the HD400 an older model and perhaps the broadcasters specs have not be revised to reflect the HD 900. It is also curious that under the SD accepted cameras they list the AJ-SDX900 as an acceptable camera.

    Looks like an early model HD, patterned after the SDX. No24p.

    By the way, the SDX was (and still is) a wonderful SD camera…one of the best, in my opinion.
