  Mouse Overs & Web Links

  Im new to after effects, and to this forum,

  ive got me fundamentals done, and now just experimenting with effects and whats u have its.

  i would like to know how to do mouse overs, and how u can have an object which u click, to either open a web link, or acts like an interactive button and takes u to another animation or so.

  help would be greatly appreciated.
  please some one guide me or tell me to wether what i require even exists, and if so how do i go about it.

  After Effects does not create anything interactive. It creates stills and movies such as Quicktime movies.

  You need Flash or an HTML editor such as Dreamweaver to create links and rollovers.

  thanks steve for the quick reply,

  ok, let me explain the deal :
  im making a animation in AE for a website, now this animation is rather big, so when a user goes on it will just play it so its all stuttery as the user hasnt download all the data, so can i create like a loading pallette to load all the data then play the animation? or is a flash editor needed to do this.

  im also guessing there isnt anyway to import the AE into FlashMX or whats u have its?
