  Down Converting with AJ-HD1400

  Help. Can somone tell me if the AJ-1400 will down convert tapes shot 720 30P with the HDX900 to BetaSP PAL? I can not find it in the menus and i’m struggling to know if the deck will in fact make the standards conversion while down converting.

  No

  while the D5 can do the 24 >25 conversion to PAL SD, you will need real hardware to make this conversions.
