  HD 150 Letterbox mode Please help

  Hello,

  We are trying to output dvcpro50 footage via SDI in letterbox mode. Previously we were successfull outputing varicam footage via HDSDI in letterbox ( I believe menu 620-2). Is it possible to do the same with sd material. The machine has optional downconverter installed.

  Vic;

  If you play any DV, DVCAM, DVCPRO, or DVCPRO 50 tapes on the AJ-HD150, they will only play out in the same aspect ratio they were shot in, ie shoot 4×3 and ouput 4×3, shoot 16×9 and OP 16×9. There is no means of playng a 16×9 tape and getting a letterbox SD OP.
