  Varicam pan rate

  Hi there:

  I am trying to figure out how to get a smooth pan on my finished DVDs. Using the Varicam at 24p, I do a smooth pan to show a location. On the tape and in FCP it looks fine, but when I look at it on a DVD it’s jerky. What do I need to know?
