  cheapest dvcpro hd vtr?

  i’m trying to buy a deck for capturing varicam shot tapes, and money is the key issue. i only really need playback and sdi, i won’t be recording with this deck. is there anything cheaper than a used hd150? i was hoping to find an even cheaper play-only deck, but haven’t come across one yet. have i missed anything?

  Look around for a used AJ-HD130 deck, (those were the predecessors to the 1200A)
  It’s a record / play HD only deck, no SD playback, no editing….. but it
  does downconvert. NB it plays the older 18um tapes only.
