  DVCProHD footage mixed w/ HDCAM?

  I’m beginning a project that was shot 80% in DVCProHD and 20% in HDCAM…

  It will need to be onlined to HD,…I have a quick question…

  I want to complete the project in DVCProHD. I will downconvert the HDCAM to DVCam as well as the DVCProHD. When it’s time to online,…is there any benefit to capturing uncompressed DVCProHD using HDSDI out through my Kona vs. just mastering out using the native DVCProHD codec via the firewire on the 1200a deck? I’m just wondering if uncompressed offers any benefits when mixing with downconverted HDCAM. My end state is to online to the highest quality DVCProHD that I can attain and then up-rez that to HDCAM to create a master.
