  Masking Workflow – Am I doing this right?

  Hey guys,
  I currently have a piece of footage that I want to be “revealed” through the use of multiple INKBLOT.MOV mask using Luma Inverted Mattes.

  The only way I have figured out how to do it is duplicate the main movie over and over with a different part being masked so that it is a gradual reveal. I can’t imagine this is the best way to do this though.

  What do you guys suggest?

  Have you tried playing around with the “Set Matte” plugin (Under “Channels”)? I seem to recall using that in a similar situation a while back.
