For background reasons that would require a bottle of Wild Turkey, I’m using an HMR10 (external Parasonic recorder) as a second SDHC recorder. The HMR records great but records the viewfinder information as well as the video capture. I haven’t found a way to turn the HMC150 viewfinder info as as part of the feed to the HMR10. What secret am I missing. Make that two bottles of Wild Turkey. Thanks.

In the menu go to the ‘Display Setup’ section. Select ‘Video Out OSD’, and set to ‘Off’.

Steve, thanks for the answer. Looking at a backup recording with viewfinder info gave me a bout of bloodpressure. I never had the need for this before and wasn’t even sure where to start.
