  Importing 3D obj and mtl files into AE Element 3D !!

  Dear all forum gurus,

  I am happy to join your forum today and I hope I will get some assistant in my simple issue..

  I am an AE user but with no experience in 3D programs, I have downloaded a free obj file which I want to use in one of my AE projects but this object file has no texture, one of the guys in other forums helped me in 3dmax and made mtl file, but still when I import the object I got only the grey object … and when I insert the mtl file as a texture the object disappears ..

  I simply want to import this object into my AE with textures or at least a way to insert the mtl file..

  Kindly advice..

  Element doesn’t do MTL files. You’ll have to rework the materials in Element by hand.
