Will my .mts files work with Screenflow for Mac?
Posted by Joe Bigornia on September 10, 2011 at 2:59 amI am just wondering since I had no trouble with my .mov files before and I will be picking up my Mac that got serviced and my client needs it for Screenflow. Thanks

September 10, 2011 at 5:55 amDo you mean the Telestream softwear?
You can see mts files with Roxio video player and if you can see it then I guess you can record it on screenflow.

September 10, 2011 at 5:43 pmThanks for the answer. Yea its giving me a headache converting all the files for the client. I am sure he can drop it on there. Thank you again.

September 10, 2011 at 6:08 pmThe only issue you might have is that thoes files don’t play specially smooth since they are really compressed. It’s ok if the action is still but at the first camera or actor quick movement it’s going to look bad.
Do a log and transfer on FCP to Prores LT and your client and your computer will be happy. 🙂 -

September 10, 2011 at 11:51 pmWell he wants to drop it directly into screen flow. He doesnt have FCP. I am trying to get him to drop it into iMovie 11 since it is now MTS friendly from what I heard. Thanks for the help
