    Yes, Fractal Noise actually IS Noise Turbulent, after Cult Effects was bought by Adobe.

    I think it’s included in the Pro version only though… which is not what the original poster is using.

    There’s no fractal noise, but I do have Turbulent Displace under distort. If I remember correctly, this is the plugin I tried when trying to replicate this effect and it didn’t turn out as the tutorial showed. Should TD replicate the effect of Fractal Noise or Noise Turbulent? Are there any third party plugins that are similar to Fractal Noise?

    Turbulent Displace is a displacement effect where Noise Turbulent is a noise generator I believe.
