  crumbling type

  Hey guys, I was interested in doing a really nice crumbling text effect. Almost like pieces of rock falling off the screen. Has anyone got any ideas on a good starting point?

  Have you tried shatter, with a gradient map

  Ben Unguren’s tutorials on Shatter are probably a good place to start.
