  Alternative to AVCCAMViewer

  Working with Apple OS & FCP and AVCHD I’d love to find a decent way to delete unwanted clips from my card after transferring to my hard disk. I have heard all sorts of dire warnings about deleting any of the clips in the PRIVATE/AVCHD/BDMV/STREAM directory. And AVCCAMViewer seems totally inept at helping with this.

  What are you folks using to manage these directories? I can delete them in camera, but would prefer a tool to manage that outside the camera.

  Or have I missed something in the workflow management?

  Is there a better tool folks are using to deal with AVCHD card clips?

  Currently, I copy the entire PRIVATE folder over, regardless if I have extraneous clips or not. But I don’t want to be wasting hard drive space on stuff I will never use.

  Thoughts?
