A few weeks back I was on a shoot with a guy who was using a Sony EX-1. As we were shooting he mentioned to me that he was using something called a cine scene (sp?) which basically was like an action that was read off of the SD card (similar to a firmware update) and then applied as a preset through the camera. I guess there are a slew of these out there to purchase but I don’t know if it is something unique to Sony or what the deal is. I can’t find the guys email address so I can’t ask him. I was wondering if anybody knows what that is and if someone is writing these for the HMC-40? I tried searching but when you don’t know what the bugger is called….Thanks.

Sure there are HMC scene files out there for the googling- but you can also make your own experiments and save those too.
