  DVX100A Repairs

  I own a DVX100A and it seems that the iris has malfunctioned on me. The iris does not open as wide as it once did and it very hard to get a moderately lit shot in a bright room.

  How much will a repair for this problem cost?

  Would it be worth it to just buy another cheaper camera and if so, what brand?

  It’s worth sending it into Panasonic’s repair center- details on the back of your manual. Diagnosis is usually very cheap and then you can learn if it’s worth ‘totalling’ it out or repairing. We can’t diagnose or give you a repair estimate from here. 🙂
