  Mts to avi or mpeg

  Good afternoon.
  I bought a digital cam " Panasonic DMC-TZ7 ".
  Machine com very good qualities.
  I need help to convert small videos mts.
  This cam records the videos in the format mts. Happens that the normal readers can not read this format. Movavi have used the videos to convert to another format. Happens when the videos are a little longer the program does not complete the transformation, Leaving the clips in the middle. The other hand if you place movavi to read this format it is all part of reading. Blocks my pc todinho. (2 gb RAM ).
  This machine Panasonic is very good but I'm experiencing com this problem.
  I am grateful that someone show me a reader to read this in the proper format mts.
  I am also grateful that someone show me a converter for this format mts a conventional format, Is mpeg, Avi or other readable.
