  Panasonic Avchd Frame Skip in FCP

  I recently transcoded footage from AVCHD format.

  I used the Log and Transfer function in FCP 6.0.5, converting it to Apple Pro Res using the plug in. The footage is skipping frames. Or looks like it is skipping frames.

  I didn’t shoot this and can’t contact the shooter but I am wondering if something went wrong during the transcode process or if it could have been shot incorrectly AND if there is someway I could possibly fix this after the fact because I no longer have the raw footage.
