  Best MinDV Tape for Export Format

  Dear CC Gurus,

  I’m using a Panasonic Dvx100b to shoot a film which I will need to export to either DVD or 35mm. The project will be shot in 24p. What MiniDV Tape would lend itself best to this type of project. Also, our low budget is a factor.

  Sorry, I meant to capture footage in 24p on the dvx100b for later export to dvd or 35mm. Which tape would be best suited for that?

  Well it doesn’t really matter where it’s going ultimately does it? You want a good recording in any event. Anyways- I’d go for the Panasonic MQ or PQ tapes. You won’t find these at a Best Buy but you can easily them from a place like:
