Hey all.. I’ve just ordered a DVX100B and I’m going to use it initially to shoot a wedding. I’m getting a basic wide angle and zoom lens with the camera but I’d like to get some standard lens filters (polarizing, etc.). Anyone have suggestions on brand and what do I look for in sizes? Is there a proprietary thread that requires a special mount?

    Thanks!

    Cal,
You will need to get 72mm filters. They will come with the neccesary threading to screw them right into the dvx100. Tiffen filters are always super reliable but if you want to save a bit of cash, formatt makes great filters as well. If you want more info, feel free to email me.

You’ll want Tiffen White ProMist in several densities, a Polarizer, Coral, Ultraviolet. Go to Tiffen’s website and they have suggestions and samples. https://www.tiffen.com/filters.htm

Someone sells a starter kit worth 5 filters at a discount. Explore at B+H website but look for a deal elsewhere. We buy our stuff from BandPro in Burbank
