  ‘Auto – off – loading – lock’ (blue screen of death)

  Help! In the middle of a shoot here- this camera has worked great for going on 4 years with no issues whatsoever… Until today, switching from ND off to ND 1/64- I started getting this blue screen and flashing red warning: ‘AUTO OFF LOADING LOCK’. Cannot get rid of it, can’t switch from camera into VCR mode (so can’t even edit, use to route Final Cut Pro for NTSC and speakers!)- If I putz around enough trying various settings camera will just switch itself off (full battery).

  Any and all ideas appreciated! Or am I screwed and just need to send back to the factory for service?? (**Did try pushing the reset botton, twice- no change on reboot, same issue)

  Sorry to hear of your situation.

  I might try powering off the unit. Removing the battery for a few minutes (if you already hadn’t), then remount the battery, power on, then push reset.
