Using the AG-DVX100 for a Web Cam
Using the AG-DVX100 for a Web Cam:
Ya’ I know but I can’t see buying a Web Cam when I have a professional camera sitting right next to me.
My question is what do you all recommend I use and how should I best implement my DVX 100 as a Web Cam?
Is there built in o/s stuff I can use?
Does anyone have a particular software interface they like?

A DVX100 is really expensive overkill for a webcam but you asked so…
Not sure what system you are on but Securityspy and Evocam on the Mac accept firewire video inputs.

I’m sure similar software exists on the PC side.

I’ve been looking for more tips on using this camera.
It’s so easy just to point and shoot without thinking because the DVX100 is such a good camera i forget it can be better. 😎
