The DVX Book nomenclature
Although Barry Green’s book is unquestionably an excellent guide to the DVX there are some useages I don’t understand.
On page 93 under the MARKER heading he says “To use it, press the ZEBRA button (66/54) to cycle through the Zebras until the Marker box comes up…
I don’t understand the 66/54 reference.

that’s just a reference to the DVX users manual – in the camera layout diagrams in the early pages of the manuals, the zebra button is item number 66 in the DVX100 & 100A manuals, and item 54 in the DVX-B manual. You’ll find this reference system explained in the lead paragraph of the chapter “Physical Camera Switches & Jacks”
