Problems after project is exported from FCP
Heya,
I seem to have a problem with my projects lately, I am shooting with my DVX 100a in 24p mode not 24p advanced mind you. I edit my project using FCP express. But when its done I have lines around any sort of movement, like the lines you get when you pan too fast in 24p, the only problem is that the subjects arent moving that fast. After doing some reading I deduced that the problem lies in FCP but fot the life of me i see no way to change the settings.I fear its due to the fact that Im using FCP express and not the full version. (augh!) Is they any way to correct this problem?
I saw that clip you posted on youtube about how to export but when I pull it up i dont have half the settings that should be there.Thanks for all of your help.

Can you post some stills of what you mean by lines? Shift Apple 3 takes a screenshot.

Oh and I think that it has something to do with the way it was exported too.

Well that didnt go as planned.
well its late, but the lines are horizontal through the frame and they seen to get worse when you pan or make any movement. -

the lines you are referring to are a product of video interlacing. To remedy this, deinterlace your footage in your editor before you export. It should be found in the effects menu.
