Should check thread size before you buy ? also look at the B H page, lots and lots of tripods.

My advice ….. you just spent 4 t0 5 grand on a camera. DO NOT SKIMP on your tripod.

Try 4×4 filters with a matte box

This is a great tripod kit manfrotto, worth every penny, a professional tripod.

FWIW, I recently bought a DVX. Added a 72mm Tiffen UV haze filter, Manfrotto tripod and Bogen 503 head for around $500 from B&H. Be careful though. They shipped filter in the same box as tripod. Guess what happened to the filter? Good luck.

Make money (and love, of course) not war…

I was going to ask a smiliar question to this, in regards of tripod, I was wondering what are some key points when looking for one. Also how vital are spreaders?

I found this bogen, for relatively cheap and plan on buying it: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/home?O=5136&A=details&Q=&sku=191754&is=REG&addedTroughType=categoryNavigation

Do any of you have any information?

i did hear that the bogen 501 sticks. if you are looking for a tripod get the bogen 503. as far as i know the 503 still isnt true fluid, but its way better than the 501

    hope that helps
