My Anamorphic lens seems to have stripped at the screw. Does anyone know where I can get a new screw for the anamorhic lens. Or..is it the female threads? Has anyone had this problem? and, if so, how I can make the fix. The lens is stuck on now.
    thanx,

Not to worry- most likely it is fine. Read this:

I am already educated on how to use the lens and I have been shooting with it for a couple of years now. Thank you for the fourm though.

The screw or the hole that it goes into is actually stripped and I need to have it fixed. Do you know anyone who has had this problem (probably from over-tightening the screw). Can I get a new screw somewhere or will Panasonic make the fix. I think that this lens was such a poor design I wish they would have made it stronger and more durable like a normal interchangable lens on a camera. Any way…I need to have this fixed because I am smac dab in the middle of a shoot.

Sorry. If the lens is a few years old- it’s probably out of warranty. You should contact Panasonic to find an authorized service center- who will either repair it for you or sell you the parts you need.
