  Panasonic HVX200 to lacie

  Hello Everyone,

  We have borrowed a Panasonic HVX200 to some tests. The problem is that we don’t have any P2 cards or Firestore, instead I have connected a Lacie drive with 1394 cable and trying to record directly to drive without any P2 cards. I have talked with Panasonic before and It should work to record directly to a firewire disc, but it doesn

  Hmm- in my experience you need to hook up via a Powerbook to the hard drive. Have yet to see actual direct to hard drive recording other than via a Firestore.
