  extended warranty w/ Mack?!?

  Anyone have experience w/ Mack camera extended warranty? Sent in 100a for service w/ no VCR playback and CAM & VCR leds on back and front tally light turn on when power is applied but not turned on. Mack’s responce; “LIQUID DAMAGE” Replace Printed Circuit Board; estimate $625. This camera is pampered; no liquid damage. Seems if there is liquide damage, nothing would work right; but record to tape works fine (checked playback on DSR-11). Any advice & feedback?
